Jacky Dilfer is the Executive Director of Business Finance Capital and has held the position since April of 2012 with the goals of overseeing the CDC’s governance and operations, re-establishing its position in the marketplace, and enhancing its economic development and job creation strategies. For over a decade in the commercial and SBA lending industry, Jacky has consistently served as a top producing commercial lender, business development officer, and advisor to multiple real estate and charitable institutions.

Ray Sakaida is the previous Executive Director of Business Finance Capital and currently serves as the Executive Vice President & Business Development Officer. A California native and holder of a B.S. Degree in Business Administration/Real Estate from CSULA, Ray has held numerous positions in both the public (City, County & Federal) and private sector (Real Estate Sales, Property Management, Commercial Banking and Savings & Loan). Previous Federal positions included: Loan Specialist for the Veterans Administration/L.A. Regional Office and Commercial Loan Specialist for the U.S. Small Business Administration, Santa Ana Office.

Carly Naples
Carly Naples, CPA
Business Development Officer

Carly is responsible for obtaining information for loan applications, analyzing applicant financial statements and determining ability to repay loans, analyzing credit history and completing loan packages for SBA approval. Prior to working at BFC, Carly served as a Senior Audit Associate at Grant Thornton LLP for three years in its San Diego and Los Angeles offices. Carly graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of San Diego with a Bachelors in Accountancy.

Thomas Barabosa
Thomas Barabosa
Senior Credit Analyst

Thomas has over thirty years of banking experience centered in small business and middle market commercial lending. Thomas’s experience includes all facets of commercial lending processes. Thomas originally trained in Crocker Bank’s Credit Management Program, leading to becoming a Commercial Loan Officer handling a portfolio centered in the garment industry. Thomas has had several positions in the course of his career including Credit Administrator, Commercial Loan Department Manager, and Business Development Manager. Thomas has extensive expertise in all facets of general lending, documentation, collateralization for SBA 7(a) and 504 loans, commercial and investment property financing, trade finance, letters of credit asset based lending, and construction lending. Thomas takes pride in the fact that he has been able to assist so many individuals and businesses in reaching their goals through his position at BFC.

Vice President & Loan Officer

Therese has over 10 years of SBA and CDC underwriting experience. There’s experience include packaging, processing, underwriting, and closing SBA 7(a) and 504 loans. Therese oversees loan processing operations for the BFC team. Therese received her Bachelors of Business Administration degree from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA.
