A California native and holder of a B.S. Degree in Business Administration/Real Estate from CSULA, Ray has held numerous positions in both the public (City, County & Federal) and private sector (Real Estate Sales, Property Management, Commercial Banking and Savings & Loan). Previous Federal positions included: Loan Specialist for the Veterans Administration/L.A. Regional Office and Commercial Loan Specialist for the U.S. Small Business Administration, Santa Ana Office.

Carly is responsible for obtaining information for loan applications, analyzing applicant financial statements and determining ability to repay loans, analyzing credit history and completing loan packages for SBA approval. Prior to working at BFC, Carly served as a Senior Audit Associate at Grant Thornton LLP for three years in its San Diego and Los Angeles offices. Carly graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of San Diego with a Bachelors in Accountancy.

Michael Mortara is the Senior Credit Analyst of Business Finance Capital. He brings more than 47 years of banking, underwriting and credit experience to the role, having worked for banking and lending institutions such as Wells Fargo, Pacific Western Bank and Security Pacific Bank. His specialty is in assisting clients in developing and expanding their businesses, as well as ensuring all credit applications are accurate and adhere to commercial real estate guidelines and regulations. A Southern California native, UCLA alum and graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington, Michael resides in Burbank.

Therese has over 10 years of SBA and CDC underwriting experience. Therese’s experience include packaging, processing, underwriting, and closing SBA 7(a) and 504 loans. Therese oversees loan processing operations for the BFC team. Therese received her Bachelors of Business Administration degree from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA.

As a Business Development Officer for BFC, Lee is focused on generating new owner occupied commercial real estate transactions for small business owners. Prior to joining BFC, Lee worked 30+ years as a Wells Fargo team member, serving various roles including most recently as Senior Vice President, Senior Commercial Lender. He has been involved in hundreds of transactions totaling hundreds of millions of dollars of loan production volume. By profiling his clients to fully understand their objective’s Lee has been able to provide meaningful financing recommendations to ensure his clients objectives are met. Lee is an LA native and lives and works in the San Fernando Valley. He has two boys that go to Santa Barbara City College and Cal State University Northridge. In his free time Lee enjoys bike riding, hiking and playing poker.

Her experience included selling and facilitating a wide variety of loan options, portfolio management for high net worth individuals and branch management that under her leadership, earned frequent distinctions for top performance and total sales.
